What We Built
GetFreeQR.app started with a simple frustration. Every QR code generator we tried either slapped a watermark on the output, required an account, or charged money for basic features like downloading an SVG. We figured there had to be a better way.
So we built one. GetFreeQR.app is a completely free QR code generator that supports 10 different QR code types, from simple URLs and WiFi credentials to vCards, WhatsApp links, and social media profiles. Everything runs in your browser. Your data never leaves your device. No server-side processing, no database, no tracking of what you create.
The tool is available in 8 languages: English, Vietnamese, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Japanese, and Korean. We designed it to work for small business owners, teachers, event organizers, and anyone who needs a QR code without jumping through hoops.
